Redwood Facility - Back to the Bays opens a new Outreach Center in Sag Harbor

Aerial view of our new Redwood Facility in Sag Harbor, which will serve as an Education Center and Restoration Site, increasing the Back to the Bays’ ability to engage local citizens and schools in the work of CCE Marine Program.

This has been an exciting summer as we begin plans, improvements, and program operations out of our NEW facility in Sag Harbor! CCE Marine has partnered with the Village of Sag Harbor to develop an outreach and education center at Redwood Anchorage Marina.

This facility will offer a multitude of programs and activities focused on marine science; STEAM Art + Education; habitat and shellfish restoration; and citizen involvement workshops and stewardship opportunities - all to support the enhancement of natural coastal and marine resources for the community to enjoy.
