Join Back to the Bays at the ARTS CENTER AT DUCK CREEK FARM for a fun and educational event all about macroalgae and pressed seaweed! Discover the fascinating world of these underwater organisms and learn about their importance in our ecosystem. Our Marine Educators will share information on algae blooms and the process of eutrophication. We will speak specifically about Hog Creek, a waterbody in Springs, and the work CCE Marine is doing to remediate this beautiful ecosystem. This event will feature hands-on activities and demonstraitions in making pressed seaweed.

This in-person event is outdoors, so please dress accordingly. The raindate is scheduled for May 14 at 3 PM. This event is made possible by East Hampton Town's Community Preservation Fund.
