Join us for a seahorse seining blitz, as we search for seahorses in the seagrass meadows at multiple spots along Dune Rd. Learn about this fascinating species with a quick presentation (given at the Tiana Bayside Facility), and then help us find this elusive fish to gather data that will contribute to the conservation and management of the species. We will discover and observe lots of other species as we seine, but we will do our best to try and find the rare seahorse!
***Water shoes required, seining activity is for participants ages 8+. Younger participants are welcomed to observe but must be accompanied by an adult guardian for duration of workshop.
Learn more about our future seahorse research efforts, and more ways you can contribute to this important initiative!
