Join Back to the Bays and Menantic Creek Keepers to plant oysters at our restorative oyster reef site in Menantic Creek as part of our Shelter Island Stewardship Site.

After a short presentation and safety briefing, we will embark on our oyster planting paddle in Menantic Creek!

Bring your own paddle board or kayak. Please dress appropriately, as you might get wet and slightly dirty when handling the oysters. Please ONLY register for this event if you are a strong swimmer and have experience paddle boarding or kayaking. You will need to sign a Liability Waiver as part of the check in process so please be on site promptly at 3pm.
