Meet the Marine Team: Kim Manzo

This week, let’s take a few minutes to meet another member of the CCE Marine Team, Kimberly Manzo!

Kim is our very own resident seahorse expert! Kim heads up our Seahorse Conservation Initiative and is a core member of our Habitat Team, helping to restore eelgrass to our bays and coastal plants to our shorelines!

  1. How long have you been with CCE Marine Program? 
    18 years

  2. What's your position title?
    Habitat Program Educator

  3. What is your favorite part of your job?
    SCUBA Diving

  4. How many scuba hours do you think you’ve logged in your career thus far?
    Hundreds

  5. What are your favorite plant and animal species to work with?
    Eelgrass and seahorses

  6. What do you do for fun outside of work?
    Hang with family & friends, go to the beach, hiking, gardening, travel

  7. If you could be any marine species what would you be?
    A dolphin.

  8. Why?
    Because they are very intelligent, get to travel a lot and have lots of fun! Seems like a good life.
