Lookdown & Permit
Lookdown, Selene vomer & Permit, Trachinotus falcatus
Framed original gouache painting 17“ x 21.5”
Your purchase is not only a great conversation piece about our local species and the work CCE Marine does but it will help in educating the future!
Your purchase will help support the creation of the CCE Marine Long Island Coastal and Marine Field Guide! Our resident artist, Carolyn Munaco created original paintings of 250 local species to be featured in the guide. The field guide is to help aid in the exploration, identification, and appreciation of our local coastal and marine habitats.
Your contribution will help see this project through to publication. Support for this effort has been provided by the J.M. Kaplan Fund’s Furthermore Grant and numerous private donors thus far, but we still have $9000 to go to meet our goals of printing, publishing, and distributing this guide.
